PDF to Image Converter, as the name implies, is an application that can help you transform PDF documents into images.
The program welcomes you, from the very start, with a nice and relaxing interface. The large buttons placed at hand could be very useful for those with less experience in the field. Moreover, the app doesn't provide unnecessary options that might generate confusion or useless complications. I should mention that the trial comes with a lot of restrictions and places a watermark on every newly created image.

The process starts with selecting a file or an entire folder as a subject for conversion. Once the file added, you have the possibility to visualize every page in the preview section, and if necessary, even to open the file with a PDF reader directly from the program. A feature that I want to emphasize is the one regarding the option to select just the pages you want to be converted, and not the entire file. As for the output formats, you have 8 alternatives which, in my point of view, cover the most popular image file types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TGA, PPM, JPEG 2000, TIFF. You can choose among different setting options for every image format selected, such as DPI or pixels, colorful or gray-scale, quality or compression.

As for me, I think the program is pretty good, although the expression "to image" seems too emphatic, taking into consideration the fact that it exports only 8 image formats - the most common ones, indeed, but which represent a very small per cent out of the wide image format range. More than that, when I wanted to select 1000 DPI for JPEG output, I received an error message - only at 850 DPI I was successful. I should also mention that it seems you can change the skins, but unfortunately there is only a default one. I hope these problems are encountered only within the trial version, but still, it doesn't hurt to ask about them before buying.
